This is an 18k white gold A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 191.028. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a pull out winding crown, and there is a rectangular pushbutton on the left-side case band at 10 o'clock for quick-adjusting the date. It includes an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE I/SA," hallmarks, and a serial number. The 38.5mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and convex angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is deep blue on solid silver, with a large off-centered recessed time dial at 9 o'clock with applied rhodiumed white gold Roman numeral hour markers at the quarter hours, and applied rhodiumed diamond-shaped indices around a luminous white minute scale. It has rhodiumed white gold dauphine hands, and there is a double window big date at 1 o'clock, with the distinction of not registering a zero, but an elegant blank space instead. There is a smaller recessed blue running small seconds subsidiary dial at 5 o'clock with luminous white markers and a white gold indicator hand, and there is an "up/down" power reserve arc on the perimeter between 2 and 4 o'clock, with a gold dauphine indicator hand. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 9.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 191.028 has the new mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L121.1 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 43 jewels, an anti-shock device, and an escapement with a balance wheel with eccentric poising weights and a freely oscillating balance spring. It includes twin mainspring barrels mounted in series, a hand-engraved balance cock, blued screws, some gold chatons, and the mechanism beats at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 191.028 was introduced in 2017 as one of the "Blue Series; it was only in production for one year.
