This is an platinum Cartier Santos-Dumont Large Model Limited Edition WGSA0053. It includes an alligator leather leather strap with a matching 18k platinum tang buckle, and a curved scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown set with a ruby cabochon, and a solid case back secured with 4 screws, engraved with "CARTIER – LIMITED EDITION – WATER RESISTANT - SWISS MADE – MECANIQUE – PT950," hallmarks, an edition number, and the hand-written Santos-Dumont signature in white lettering. The 31.4mm by 43.5mm square tonneau art-deco-style two-body solid case, flat curved bezel with 8 face screws, and the gently curved lugs, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with a square concentric guilloche texture with polished applied rose gold Roman numeral hour markers, and gold dauphine sword hour and minute hands. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 36-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 7.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Santos-Dumont Large Model Limited Edition WGSA0053 has a mechanical manual winding Cartier caliber 430MC (Piaget 430P) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes Cartier embellishment. It has 18 jewels, 131 components, and a shock absorber device. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a balance stop, a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz).
