This is an 18k "Canopus" White Gold Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.63.42.50.02.001. Canopus is a white gold alloy produced using white gold, palladium, platinum, and rhodium. It includes an alligator leather strap with a folding deployant buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating. It includes a signed screw down winding crown, round chronograph push buttons, and there is a screw down exhibition sapphire display crystal case back engraved with "CO-AXIAL - MASTER CHRONOMETER – THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON," hallmarks underneath the lugs, and a serial number. The 42mm diameter solid three-body barrel-shaped case, gently curved lugs, and flat black fixed ceramic bezel with a silver tachymeter scale to 500 UPH, are polished/brushed. The dial is white with recessed white "pie tin" subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and white gold indicator hands, including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph counter at the three o'clock position. It has faceted rectangular white gold baton hour markers with luminous end pips surrounded by a black lower tier second/minute black chapter ring. It includes white gold pointed baton hour and minute hands with luminous Super-Luminova inserts, and there is a center sweep second hand with a luminous arrow indicator and a needle tip. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.63.42.50.02.001 has the new mechanical manual winding Omega co-axial Certified Master Chronometer (approved by METAS) caliber 3861 (an updated version of the Omega caliber 861/1861 based on the Lemania caliber 1873) chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it's constructed with 26 jewels, an anti-shock system, and a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring. It's resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.63.42.50.02.001 was released in 2021, the fifth generation of the original moon watch designed by Omega's Claude Baillod and Head Creator Pierre Moinat in 1957.
