This is a stainless-steel Panerai Radiomir Chronograph PAM00288. It includes a leather strap with a stainless-steel deployment buckle and a solid case back secured with 4 screws and engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – FIRENZE 1860 – AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH - STAINLESS-STEEL – 100M," a serial and edition number. It has a gem-shaped pull out signed winding crown, and angled round chronograph push buttons. The 45mm square cushion-shape three-body solid case, steel wire looped lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished. It has a black dial with large luminous Arabic numerals at the half-hours, and luminous rounded baton hour indices surrounded by a luminous white minute/second scale and a perimeter silver tachymeter scale to 400 UPH. It includes pointed steel baton hour and minute hands with luminous fill and there is a steel center sweep second hand with a luminous arrow tip. It has twin recessed black subsidiary dials with white/luminous markers, Arabic numerals, and luminous "propeller" style indicator hands including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at the 3 o'clock position. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet and the 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Radiomir Chronograph PAM00288 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai OP XII (base Valjoux caliber 7753) chronograph movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and Côtes de Genève embellishment, and it's constructed with 27 jewels, blued screws, an Incabloc anti-shock mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, and a Glucydur monometallic balance that's adjusted for heat, cold and 5 positions. There is a self-compensating flat balance spring, a personalized Panerai oscillating weight, and the mechanism vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Panerai Radiomir Chronograph PAM00288 was released at the SIHH in 2007 in a limited edition of 700 examples.
